Casa Levita
Casa Levita embodies SDH Studio’s contemporary vision of laid-back luxury—where architecture, nature, style and comfort coexist effortlessly.
The architecture unfolds as a serene interplay of bold structural gestures, softened by cascading greenery and natural textures that blur the line between built form and nature. Elegant horizontal planes, sculptural vertical supports, and tiered volumes lend the home the appearance of floating amid the surrounding gardens. Generous overhangs, expansive glazing, and a restrained material palette of warm wood, soft limestone, and textured concrete ground the design to its place while inviting light to shape each space throughout the day.
A tranquil water feature guides the arrival sequence, creating a sense of calm as a floating walkway leads toward the entry. Inside, light-filled living areas open seamlessly to the outdoors, framed by sweeping views of the garden’s layered vegetation. The connection between interior and exterior is constant, with glass walls that retract to merge social spaces, terraces, and shaded lounge areas into one continuous environment.
Lush planters wrap each level of the home, creating the verdant “canopy” that gives the residence its name, while softening the linear geometry and elevating the landscape vertically. Anchored by a sculptural column and a series of carefully proportioned cantilevers, the upper floors project outward to form sheltered outdoor rooms and panoramic vantage points.
Every detail reflects SDH Studio’s commitment to harmony, proportion, and livable elegance—resulting in a residence that feels both architecturally expressive and deeply connected to its tropical setting.
