Florida Design Magazine this month. Pine Tree is one of those rare streets in Miami that carries both prestige and peace. This lot faces east, with views that open up across the widest stretch of the Indian Creek waterway.
The neighborhood itself is one of Miami’s most prestigious yet quietly understated residential enclaves — set on the western side of Miami Beach, bordering Biscayne Bay rather than the ocean, which gives it a calmer, more secluded feel than the beachfront streets nearby. Mature trees line the roads, unusual for Miami Beach, and the pace runs noticeably slower than South Beach or Mid-Beach.
The home is conceived as a sequence of spaces that reveal themselves gradually: a two-story glass entry with a full-height pivot door, an open-plan living area where the glass walls retract completely, and a primary suite that opens directly to the water and spans the full width of the upper level. Walnut millwork, limestone flooring, book-matched marble, and travertine carry the material language throughout — a home grounded in warmth, prospect, and material richness.
The home was built by Ricardo Halfen and the team at TREO Construction, with landscape architecture was designed by Eco Pacheco and photography by Michael Ruiz of Legendary Productions.
