Designed by Stephanie Halfen and Cristina Magdaleno, this modern tropical home takes sunlight and reflections and transforms them into active design tools, enriching the atmosphere and creating a living experience defined entirely by light, rhythm, and place.
The Vision: A Luminous Threshold
Situated on an expansive lot facing the east to capture the morning sunrise, the architecture of Pine Tree Drive blends sharp, contemporary lines with a warm, refined tropical sensibility.
The experiential journey begins the moment you approach the property:

The Entrance: An elegant water feature gently guides visitors toward a grand, double-height atrium.

The Atrium: Serving as a luminous threshold, this dramatic space frames the sky and bathes the entire interior in shifting daylight throughout the day.

The Core: Internally, the expansive layout unfolds around a central communication core, where glass-filled voids create a continuous, dynamic interplay of light and space.
Dissolving the Boundaries Between City and Sea
The architecture is intentionally porous, extending outward to embrace its prime location on the widest stretch of the Indian Creek Waterway. Here, the boundary between indoor luxury and the coastal landscape completely dissolves.
The outdoor program is designed as a series of sophisticated spaces for both vibrant entertaining and quiet repose:

The Pool & Integrated Spa: Positioned to look as though the architecture effortlessly blends into the waterway.

The Sun-Drenched Deck: A tranquil space optimized for relaxation and taking in the coastal breeze.

The Rooftop Terrace: Accessible via a private elevator, this spectacular crown jewel frames panoramic vistas of the waterway, the iconic South Beach skyline, and the vast Atlantic Ocean beyond.
