2464 Prairie
The street-facing façade of this beautiful two-story family home showcases an artful play of horizontal planes, accented with decorative vertical reveals in the marble walls, adding subtle detail to the otherwise smooth surface. Large glass windows complement the marble façade, creating a striking contrast between the solid stone and transparent glass. Planters flow from the first-floor balcony, and a cooling water feature at the front door requires visitors to ascend steps that float above a serene pond.
At the rear of the house, the design is punctuated by large windows, breaking up the volume and allowing natural light to flood the interior. The pool, complete with a spa element, features a floating bridge that spans the water, with an aperture above it to let light into that end of the pool. A covered entertainment area includes an outdoor kitchen, perfect for family or social gatherings.
The guest house continues the design theme with an accent wall that mirrors the decorative reveals of the main house, adding depth and visual interest to the marble stonework. The structure is thoughtfully designed with a void at the corner, creating a backyard view from the guest bedroom and enhancing the sense of openness.
